What You’ll Do: Develop the control plane for a cloud DBaaS platform Build highly scalable distributed systems at scale Build and operate specific database engine controls to provision, destroy, scale, and backup clusters Build world class telemetry and logging to provide proactive signals and alerts to both engineering teams and customers if something isn’t right Orchestrate complex workflows for various database engines Automate and create playbooks for operations related to owning and running database engines that may include minor or major upgrades, security patching, and other maintenance events Stay current with trends in cloud-native infrastructur
