We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join our User & Account Systems team. This team owns the core primitives that every DigitalOcean customer interacts with Teams, Organizations, Projects, resource Tags, and the customer console experience itself at cloud scale, handling millions of events per second. In this role, you will set the technical direction for Account Management at DigitalOcean — defining the architecture for how Teams, Organizations, Projects, and Tags evolve over multi-year horizons, and how those primitives intersect with billing, identity, and AI/ML platform needs. You will be a primary technical voice in cross-org decisions, and you will establish the engineering standards the team builds against.
