Role - Senior SQL Database Administrator Location - Atlanta, GA 30328 Work Model - Onsite - Hybrid (3 days a week work from office) Employment type - Fulltime Job Overview: The Senior Open-Source Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the evaluation, design, implementation, and ongoing management of open source database platforms supporting applications. This role operates in a highly distributed, cloud-first environment and partners with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions. This position requires a self-driven individual who can work independently and collaboratively while contributing to a strong engineering culture. Responsibilities: Administer and support open-source database platforms including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Amazon Aurora PG, Amazon Aurora MySQL. Ensure performance, availability, scalability, and reliability of production and non-production databases, proactively identifying and resolving performance, capacity, replication, and distributed data issues. Perform routine database maintenance including vacuuming, indexing, archiving, patching, and upgrades Install, configure, and maintain database software across hybrid cloud environments Design, implement, and support replication and data movement solutions including Tungsten Replicator and AWS DMS Support AWS database services (RDS, EC2, Aurora, Redshift), ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency Implement and maintain database standards across security, prov
