The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for investigating assigned properties of concerns being either residential, commercial, industrial or institutional sites after a disastrous incident, including but not limited to structural elements and providing professional evaluations. Key Responsibilities: Assess both residential, commercial, industrial or institutional damaged buildings. Research failure modes and code requirements as required. Oversee the preparation of all necessary reporting and permit drawing generation outlining all restoration/renovation work. Prepare the structural design and drafting of restoration to complex damaged buildings, as well as design and drafting of new buildings. Manages and works with multi-disciplinary teams on large and complex assignments. Collaborate with team members and manage timelines to consistently meet strict deadlines. Prepare and submit fully detailed well written reports on structural recommendations and approved drawings on location findings within the requested timeframe. Conduct peer reviews on scope of work. Delegating tasks when necessary. Travel throughout Ontario and possibly other locations on short notice when needed. Continuously monito
