SEO Strategist

We are seeking an analytical, growth-focused SEO Strategist to join a fast-growing digital agency working with service-based, B2B, retail, and eCommerce clients. Rather than just running basic optimizations, this role is built for a strategic thinker who can architect holistic search strategies, lead end-to-end campaign performance, and leverage modern AI workflows to scale organic growth. In this position, you will own client campaigns from initial technical audits through long-term roadmap execution. You will translate organic data into clear business insights, guide content and design teams toward SEO-first execution, and continuously adapt search strategies across local, national, and AI-driven search platforms. Full-time: 40 hours per week Remote: Fully remote (UK working hours) Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (client based in Ireland) Monthly Rate: $1000-1600 (based on a 40-hour workweek; flexible depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Campaign Architecture & Strategy: Design and own end-to-end organic search strategies—including comprehensive site audits, technical architecture roadmaps, keyword gap analyses, and ROI-focused campaign positioning. Multi-Platform Technical Optimization: Direct and execute technical SEO, site structure enhancements, schema markup, and metadata optimization across major CMS environments (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix). AI & Future-Proof Search Visibility: Integrate advanced AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Surfer SEO) to streamline content planning and on-page optimization, while structuring content for entity-based search and AI-driven discovery engines. Local & National Growth: Drive local SEO initiatives—including Google Business Profile management, local citation building, and location-specific page structures—alongside national search strategies.
