Description The Digital Modernization Sector currently has an opening for a mid-level ServiceNow Software Engineer to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your software engineering skills to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software programs for new and enhanced ServiceNow systems. You will play a critical role in supporting DoD customers by applying appropriate principles, standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle. Primary Responsibilities Perform full-lifecycle software engineering functions on the ServiceNow platform, including the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software enhancements. Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with a significant impact on operational results and project deliverables. Develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, requiring a deep understanding of the platform's impact on the end-product/solution. Configure, customize, and maintain core IT Service Management (ITSM) modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. Maintain CMDB health and accuracy, ensuring proper data normalization and lifecycle management. Support the implementation and roadmap of advanced platform features, such as ITSM Pro and AI-driven capabilities like Now Assist. Communicate effectively with internal and client project team members, working to influence team members regarding solution design, process, and approaches. Develop solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to client needs and support the implementation of the ServiceNow roadmap.
