Backend Developers (Go/Golang) - FinTech | Naxxar (Onsite) | From €40,000 Build Scalable, High-Performance Systems with Modern Cloud Technologies We're looking for talented Backend Developers (Go/Golang) to join a growing engineering team building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications. You'll play a key role in developing backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems while collaborating with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust software solutions. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang) Build and optimise RESTful APIs , backend services, and microservices Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing software systems Integrate with third-party services, APIs, and relational databases Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle What We're Looking For Experience developing applications with Go (Golang) Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and backend architecture Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend services Knowledge of PostgreSQL , MySQL , or other relational databases Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices Exposure to microservices , Docker , Kubernetes , cloud environments, or messaging technologies such as NATS is considered an asset Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Tech Stack Go (Golang) | PostgreSQL | MySQL | REST APIs | Docker | Kubernetes | Git | NATS If you're passionate about building modern backend systems and enjoy working with cloud-native technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
