The Role BeyondTrust is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build the NHI Governance domain within our Pathfinder products. You will implement and maintain features and services that power our SaaS offerings — helping customers discover, assess, and remediate non-human identities (service accounts, workload identities, secrets and keys, and AI agents) across cloud and on-premise environments. You will work closely with senior engineers, product, and design, growing your scope and impact while delivering high-quality software that solves complex identity and security challenges at scale. What You’ll Do Implement, test, and maintain well-scoped features and services across the domain. Write clean, readable, well-tested code and respond to feedback in code review. Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decisions for the work you own. Investigate and fix bugs, and help improve the quality and reliability of the services your team owns. Collaborate with product, design, and fellow engineers to turn requirements into working software. Learn the domain and the codebase, growing toward owning larger and more ambiguous pieces of work. Contribute to observability, testing, and operational health for the features you build. What You’ll Bring Solid programming skills in at least one modern language (C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar), with experience building and consuming APIs.
