YOUR ROLE AT SIXT You will design and build reliable, high-performance backend services that power core Ride workflows including booking, dispatch, and real-time trip management You will contribute to the architecture and evolution of distributed, event-driven systems that operate reliably across a global network of markets and service types You will collaborate closely with product, operations, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex mobility workflows into scalable and maintainable technical solutions You will own the development and improvement of internal services and shared libraries that raise the reliability and delivery speed of the Ride engineering team You will actively integrate AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor into your daily engineering workflow, helping to embed AI-assisted development as a standard practice within the team YOUR SKILLS MATTER You hold a B.Tech, B.E, or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline You bring 4–6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience, ideally in cloud-native or distributed systems environments where scale and reliability were non-negotiable You have solid production level experience in at least two backend programming languages — Golang and Java are strongly preferred — and are comfortable working within a modern microservices architecture You
