The Software Engineer develops, enhances, and maintains applications on the NiCE CXone platform using modern full-stack technologies. This role involves designing and developing scalable web applications using Java and Angular , implementing RESTful services, building responsive user interfaces, and ensuring software quality through BDD and automated testing practices . The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, troubleshooting, and production support. How will you make an impact? Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular . Develop scalable REST APIs and integrate them with modern Angular front-end applications. Implement features following Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and contribute to automated test development. Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement high-quality software solutions. Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technology evaluations. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and resolve defects identified during QA and production. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile environment. Troubleshoot application performance issues and optimize system scalability and reliability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery.
