This role sits on the team building and operating our next-generation lottery platform — a cloud-native, containerized, microservices-based system with a React front end, Node.js services, and a MySQL data tier, deployed through automated CI/CD pipelines onto Kubernetes. Engineers on this team work across the full delivery lifecycle, from design and implementation through automated testing, deployment, and production support of a high-availability, real-time transaction platform. Education, Training, and Experience B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience 2–3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with demonstrated continual increase in responsibilities At least 2 years of hands-on experience building web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript, including React on the front end and Node.js on the back end At least 1 year of experience with a relational database, preferably MySQL Practical experience with containerized applications (Docker) and with source control and CI/CD tooling (Git, automated build and deployment pipelines) Exposure to microservices architectures and container orchestration (Kubernetes) is strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Application Development Knowledge of standard software engineering c
