Solutions Architect

540 is seeking a Solutions Architect to support a mission-critical federal health data modernization initiative. The team is building a modern data platform that integrates information from diverse defense and federal systems through scalable pipelines, APIs, and reusable data products. You’ll work with senior architects, engineers, technical leads, and customer stakeholders to design solutions across Databricks, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and on-premises environments. You’ll help modernize legacy capabilities, apply reusable architectural patterns, and strengthen 540 ’s presence through trusted relationships and strong technical delivery. Location : Remote within the continental United States. HOW YOU’LL DRIVE IMPACT Help design scalable solutions for a modern federal health data platform spanning cloud, on-premises, and government-hosted environments Translate mission, business, data, security, and operational requirements into clear technical designs that account for data quality, governance, access, and lifecycle needs Contribute to current-state and target-state architectures that guide the incremental modernization of legacy federal health systems and capabilities Design and document approaches for integrating data across DoW and federal health systems using APIs, pipelines, shared services, and reusable data products Apply established reference architectures, integration
