FT Partners is a 250+ banker global firm that prides itself on having an extremely collegial and energetic culture. Role Description SpecialX is FT Partners’ quantitative and analytical engine. We support and work alongside the investment banking teams, but our focus is different. We go deep into the numbers to make sure every analysis we produce can stand up to the scrutiny of investors during buyer diligence. Data analytics analysts focus on analyzing complex datasets to uncover insights that support investment theses, validate growth initiatives, and ensure the credibility of financial KPIs and narratives presented to investors. Data analytics analysts develop strong financial and analytical skills while working on live capital raise and sale transactions. Analysts will gain hands-on experience working with large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx, while learning how to translate complex data into clear and compelling insights for investors and clients.
