We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with deep Splunk expertise to lead and deliver enterprise-scale Splunk and observability initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of project management discipline and hands-on technical knowledge to successfully drive complex Splunk deployments, enhancements, and migrations. The ideal candidate understands the Splunk ecosystem end-to-end and can effectively manage cross-functional teams while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership Lead end-to-end delivery of Splunk-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables Manage project plans, track progress, and ensure adherence to schedules Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively drive resolution Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership Splunk Technical Oversight Serve as the technical liaison for Splunk architecture, data onboarding, and platform enhancements Collaborate with engineers to design and implement scalable Splunk solutions (indexers, search heads, forwarders) Oversee data ingestion pipelines, parsing, and normalization strategies Ensure best practices are followed for performance, scalability, and security Validate technical deliverables and ensure alignment with requirements Stakeholder & Team Coordination Coordinate across engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans Facilitate meetings, workshops, and technical discussions Manage vendor relationships and external partners as needed Governance & Process Establish and enforce project governance, standards, and documentation Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate Required Qualifications 5+ years
