The Work: Responsible for delivering expert database administration support across Oracle, Postgres, and MS SQL environments within a mid‑ to large‑scale enterprise setting. Perform daily database health checks, validates backups, proactively monitors datacenter resources, resolves issues, and implements preventative measures. Support full lifecycle activities including planning, coordinating, and executing release notices, performing authorized maintenance, and deploying new servers or databases. Contribute heavily to operational excellence through dynamic user‑issue documentation, bi‑weekly updates, task‑based procedural documentation, and improvements to current infrastructure processes. Additional responsibilities include managing team ticket queues as needed, onboarding new team members, participating in weekly meetings, and helping drive enhancements in training, user documentation, and support tools.
