Sr. Engineering Technician – EMI/EMC Testing

To help achieve these efforts, Stratolaunch is seeking a Sr. Engineering Technician with specialized EMI/EMC experience to support the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of hypersonic vehicles electrical and avionics systems. This role will focus on operating EMI/EMC test equipment and performing various types of EMI testing, including radiated and conducted emissions, as well as immunity tests . You will also create shop definitions, including drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions, and serve as a liaison to the shop for installation and modification of aircraft subsystems. Successful candidates will have an aerospace background and relevant experience in aerospace systems integration and EMI/EMC testing. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform Environmental Testing including EMI/EMC Testing Operate EMI/EMC test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, antennas, LISNs, signal generators). Conduct radiated and conducted emissions and immunity testing per applicable standards (MIL-STD-461, FCC, CISPR, IEC 61000). Execute pre-compliance and full compliance EMI/EMC testing to support product development and certification. Support other environmental test efforts including thermal, vibration, and shock testing as required. Document and analyze test results, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Support Avionics and Electrical Systems Act as the engineering liaison to troubleshoot electrical, avionics, and EMI/EMC ground test issues.
