We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Field Applications Engineer, Analog & Power, to join our team. This role will serve as the technical lead for analog and power solutions, supporting system-level design engagements with key customers. Responsibilities include pre- and post-design support activities such as schematic review, component selection, technical resource guidance, and issue resolution to help drive design-in and design-win success. Success in this role requires the ability to translate component-level expertise into system-level solutions, accelerate customer designs from concept through production, and build strong, trusted relationships with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities Lead customer power architecture development, including power-tree design, device selection, and system optimization. Perform technical design reviews, root-cause analysis, and hands-on debugging of complex analog and power-related issues. Drive new product evaluations and competitive positioning for the Renesas analog and power portfolio, including PMICs, DC/DC converters, LDOs, battery-management products, and signal-chain solutions. Conduct extensive hands-on laboratory work, including board bring-up, measurement, validation, and failure analysis. Support system-level design integration, ensuring alignment among power, processor, and connectivity subsystems. Provide direct technical guidance to customers to accelerate designs from concept through production and revenue generation. Deliver field feedback to product divisions to influen
