Sr. Platform Engineer - REMOTE

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Senior Platform Engineer designs, implements, operates, and improves enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role supports Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure core services, virtualization, storage, networking, and related platform services. The Senior Platform Engineer defines complex infrastructure problems, develops practical solutions, and improves standards, configurations, and procedures to support reliable and secure business operations. The role combines technical expertise, engineering judgment, and service ownership to improve platform reliability, observability, maintainability, and measurable service outcomes. Salary range is $91,840.00 - $120,639.02/annually. Job Grade, EX 15B. Final salary is dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Six (6) years of progressive system administration or platform engineering experience, including highly virtualized environments and Microsoft cloud services. Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements Ability to define infrastructure problems, analyze system data, and draw sound conclusions from logs, monitoring tools, and documented evidence. Ability to interpret technical documentation, implementation guides, diagrams, and operational procedures. Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, directory services, group policy, permissions, authentication, and system configuration. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and related identity, compute, storage, and networking services
