Staff Engineer (Cloud Engineering)

Requirements Experience : 5.5+years Strong experience in cloud or platform engineering, with strong experience supporting containerized applications. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes in production environments. Strong proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, infrastructure provisioning, automation, and reusable modules. Working experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices. Good understanding of Microservices Architecture (MSA), containerized workloads, and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Flux. Strong experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment workflows. Understanding of container networking, service discovery, and service mesh technologies such as App Mesh, Istio, or Linkerd. Knowledge of observability principles including monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and distributed-system performance. Experience with container security, image scanning, secrets management, and runtime access controls. Familiarity with tools such as Trivy, OPA, or Aqua is an added advantage. Experience working in Agile and DevOps-oriented environments. Exposure to serverless integrations, event-driven architectures, and multi-region or multi-cloud container platforms is desirable. Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS DevOps Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
