About the Role We are seeking an innovative SAP Technical Lead / Staff Developer to drive the technical direction of custom development on S/4HANA environment, champion Clean Core architecture, and lead delivery from system Integrator. This is a hands-on senior role responsible for designing high-quality solutions across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, logistics and Finance modules, governing code quality and secure deployment, and pioneering modern tooling, including AI-assisted development and automation to streamline delivery. The ideal candidate pairs strong object-oriented ABAP and RAP expertise with architectural judgment and a track record of mentoring technical teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as SME for all core ERP modules. Design and implement custom solutions using OOP ABAP, RAP, OData services, CDS Views, AMDP, BRF+, and Custom Fields & Logic (CFL). Drive Clean Core governance, establishing guardrails against modifications to standard tables and objects. Lead conversations and delivery with System Integrator through S/4HANA upgrades and serve as primary technical contact. Direct automated testing framework execution (ABAP Unit) for custom repository objects to mitigate regression and deployment defects. Develop high-performance RAP & OData, maintaining clean boundaries between backend logic and UI5/Fiori. Build developer-productivity tooling, including VSCODE, SAP ADT scripts and AI-assistant integrations, to automate connectivity, enforce standards, and accelerate onboarding. Co-develop integrations and middleware patterns (e.g., MCP servers for SAP ADT) that programmatically enforce development guardrails.
