Come brighten your life and over half a billion more!’ About this role This role reports to the Director of Product Design on Monetization. Monetization is the revenue engine that powers our company. Our teams focus on unlocking value for users through subscriptions, ads and in-app purchases. As a Staff Designer, you’ll play a key role in defining how users experience that value, from their first touchpoint to being long-term loyal users. As a member of the Duolingo Design team, this role is an instrumental creative partner in key monetization vectors at Duolingo—from our delightful purchase flow to our seasonal avatar events. Define and evolve both the free and paid user experiences across Monetization surfaces within the Duolingo language app Play a leadership role on the Monetization design team in shaping our product roadmap and product development Partner with engineers and product managers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for our products Work collaboratively with designers and artists to build upon and expand the Duolingo design language Sometimes work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes on narrowly defined,
