We are seeking a Staff Product Manager, Compute Infrastructure and hardware to lead the strategy and execution of our core compute offerings. You will be responsible for defining the roadmap and driving innovation for our compute platform, ensuring we deliver powerful, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role requires a solid understanding of the cloud computing landscape, including processor technologies, virtualization, and infrastructure optimization. What You’ll Do: Compute Platform Strategy: Develop and champion the long-term vision and strategy for DigitalOcean's compute platform. Define the roadmap for new compute offerings, features, and enhancements, aligning with overall company goals and customer needs. Processor Roadmap Expertise: Stay ahead of the curve on processor technologies from Intel, AMD, ARM, and other vendors. Analyze performance benchmarks, cost-efficiency, and emerging trends to inform compute platform decisions. Fleet Management and Utilization: Drive initiatives to optimize the efficiency and utilization of our compute infrastructure. Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve performance, and maximize resource allocation. Virtualization and Containerization: Deepen our expertise in virtualization and containerization technologies.
