Staff Software Engineer (Backend)

Overview We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Identity Manager development team at One Identity . You will contribute to the development of our enterprise-grade Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. You will lead the design and delivery of complex systems, features, and services with a strong focus on scalability, security, maintainability, and operational excellence Your responsibility will be to actively support the design process, provide technical input, and deliver high-quality implementations based on agreed specifications. This is a strongly hands-on engineering position with meaningful ownership in delivery, quality, and production stability. Responsibilities Implement complex features and enhancements based on architectural and product specifications Write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards Perform deep technical investigations and root cause analysis of customer-reported issues Actively participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability Develop and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) Collaborate closely with Product Management, Architects, Security, and Technical Communication teams Proactively identify technical debt and propose improvements Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience Experience in leading the design and delivery of complex systems, features, and services Experience in driving technical design, architectural decisions, and implementation strategies aligned to long-term platform direction. Strong knowledge of: C# / .NET ecosystem SQL, MS-SQL and database performance optimization APIs (Rest) Active Directory Secure coding practices Experience working with complex enterprise platforms Confident English proficiency, both written and spoken Strong debugging and analytical skills Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e
