Team: The Careers Matching Foundations team is an apps infra team within the Talent Marketplace organization that owns the job search backend systems. We own the query understanding system, the GPU-based EBR system, and the mid-tier orchestrator that generates job search results. We closely partner with our sister AI team who builds who builds the models and front-end client teams to improve the quality and capabilities of job search. Our mission is to build a highly available semantic job search system that enables fast iteration by our product and AI partners while staying on the cutting edge of retrieval and ranking technologies.
