The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Team: The Careers Matching Foundations team is an apps infra team within the Talent Marketplace organization that owns the job search backend systems. We own the query understanding system, the GPU-based EBR system, and the mid-tier orchestrator that generates job search results. We closely partner with our sister AI team who builds who builds the models and front-end client teams to improve the quality and capabilities of job search. Our mission is to build a highly available semantic job search system that enables fast iteration by our product and AI partners while staying on the cutting edge of retrieval and ranking technologies. Responsibilities You will scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speediness and quality. You will develop multi-tier scalable, high-volume performing, and reliable user-centric applications that operate 24x7. You will produce high quality software that is unit tes
