About the Team Renesas delivers R-Car hardware and software solutions to the automotive market and is focused on expanding market share in the exciting SDV space (including key domains such as ADAS and IVI), as well as in non-automotive applications. This team plays a critical role in driving profitable growth by managing all commercial activities related to SoC products. Through close collaboration with sales, marketing, and development teams, the department aims to secure profitable business opportunities and strengthen the company’s mid-term growth strategy. Role Overview This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop business and commercial skills within a global technology environment. In this role, you will develop and present competitive commercial proposals to secure new business opportunities. You will manage design-ins and support business acquisition activities, combining a strong understanding of product strategy, customer positioning, and market dynamics with robust cost analysis. The role offers exposure to financial analysis (including revenue and profitability), product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will also learn how to identify potential business risks and communicate insights to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities Act as commercial window for SoC products, including pricing across hardware, software, and support, while managing gross margins and overall product ROI. Manage design-ins and support the development of business models for SoC products using market data, product strategy, and cost analysis. Track and monitor product development progress and contribute to activities that support a successful and profitable product launch. Contribute to annual budgeting and mid-term planning, including preparing reports and presentations for management.
