Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Strategic Planner to lead the planning, development, and execution of integrated communications strategies supporting a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role guides communication planning efforts, aligns messaging with mission priorities, and ensures strategies reflect leadership direction and stakeholder needs. The Strategic Planner collaborates closely with communications, program, policy, and technical partners to build forward-looking communication plans that support enterprise-wide objectives and drive consistent, mission-focused messaging. This position is fully remote. Duties & Responsibilities The Strategic Planner will: Lead the development of integrated communications strategies aligned with mission and leadership priorities. Translate organizational goals and policy themes into actionable communications plans. Coordinate cross-functional planning with communications, program, policy, IT, and operational teams. Develop strategic frameworks, message architectures, and communication roadmaps. Conduct environmental scanning, stakeholder analysis, and communication risk assessments. Support development of long-range communication calendars, campaign sequencing, and outreach planning. Produce strategic briefs, planning decks, talking points, and executive communications artifacts. Ensure alignment and consistency of messaging across digital, print, and stakeholder engagement channels. Support metrics analysis and communication performance reporting to inform strategy refinement. Facilitate planning sessions, workshops, and strategic communications reviews. Identify opportunities for communications modernization, integration, and optimization. Qualifications Clearance Requirement Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher .
