Job Title: Strategy, Ops & Excellence Lead - Statistical Sciences Job Location: Remote, USA Job Location Type: Remote Job Contract Type: Full-time Job Seniority Level: The Strategic Planning & Process Innovation, Operational Excellence, and Communications (Strat & Ops) Lead role is an important member of the SSEG (Statistical Sciences & Evidence Generation) leadership team and is responsible for ensuring that the organization is best positioned to deliver on its strategic priorities and remains future-ready. Reporting directly to the VP, Head of SSEG, this role is accountable for optimizing SSEG internal operations and communications, creating measurement and reporting systems, maintaining forums for effective decision making, and leading the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives to ensure continuous improvement. This role will be a key contributor to the SSEG leadership team, driving a portfolio of strategic projects, providing oversight, guidance and risk mitigation, in partnership with SSEG LT members and their teams. The role will drive continued operational excellence through process improvement, strategic planning, resource optimization and management, establishment of supportive systems, and strategic communications. This role requires an individual who can clarify roles and responsibilities and drive accountability to achieve team success. This is a high-impact role that requires one to lead through influence, successfully navigate a broad, cross-functional and matrixed environment from R&D to commercialization, and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
