Job Description As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are responsible for supplier selection and take the lead in qualifying, auditing, releasing, and monitoring new and existing suppliers. This ensures that the quality performance of the supply chain continuously improves and is secured. It is a role with a lot of freedom, variety, and responsibility. Furthermore, your responsibilities include: Establishing supplier selection criteria based on NTS customer requirements; Making strategic choices with Tactical Buyers regarding selection, qualification, and release of (new) suppliers; Auditing new and existing suppliers (including reporting and handling of deviations) and preparing the annual Supplier Audit Year Plan; Validating processes at suppliers and releasing them from a quality perspective; Providing input for and keeping the High Impact Parts List up-to-date within the New Product Introduction (NPI) project team; Flowing down quality requirements, deliverables, and customer requirements to suppliers and ensuring timely delivery and proper control/assurance; Identifying (structural) quality issues and initiating corrective/preventive actions internally or at the supplier (including reviewing 8D reports); Analyzing Supplier Quality KPIs, initiating actions, and following up on them; Coordinating the resolution of significant quality issues and conductin
