Raye IT is looking for an adaptable and flexible Systems Administrator to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. The Systems Administrator is responsible supporting systems, users and applications. It is a technical position. In addition, will be responsible for handling end user support issues and administration of converged hardware and VMWare. Raye IT Consulting is looking to add an experienced Systems Administrator to their team. This role will be supporting systems, network infrastructure and data center environments. This critical role must be available to travel onsite to Silver Spring, MD twice a week to perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Duties include but are not limited to: Responsibilities Scheduling and deploying patches Create, upgrade, and manage server Manage group policy Microsoft Azure Create SOP Manage Domain Controllers Manage certificates for Domain Controllers and webservers Account management Monitor server status VPN Vulnerability Scanning Provide Tier 2 & 3/other support and investigate and troubleshoot issues.
