We’re seeking a Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on AWS and Azure platforms. This role combines technical expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT modernization to support mission-critical operations for defense and commercial clients Responsibilities As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure to meet mission requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineers, to deliver robust infrastructure solutions. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and CDK. Strengthening system security will be a key focus, achieved by implementing DISA STIGs, conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and remediating identified risks. You will also support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve system accreditation and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
