So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve. At the moment, this role is focused on: - Leading, coaching and developing a highly engaged team of IAM Systems Engineers and an Operations Manager - Owning the delivery and continuous improvement of secure, reliable and scalable IAM services that Canvanauts rely on every day - Partnering closely with the Operations Manager to evolve operational practices, service management and team effectiveness - Leading strategic programs that bring Canva's long-term IAM vision to life, working across IT, Security and Infra - Reviewing technical designs, change proposals and pull requests, and supporting escalations for complex IAM requests and incidents - Using operational data and service metrics to spot opportunities, prioritise improvements and measure outcomes You're probably a match if you: - Have led and grown high-performing technical teams across local and distributed environments - Bring a strong track record of coaching, mentoring and developing engineers and emerging leaders - Bring deep experience in identity and access management, with hands-on knowledge of identity standards and protocols like SCIM, SAML and OpenID Connect - Give timely, clear
