Technical Analyst/Specialist - Databricks Platform (all humans)

We are looking for an Analyst / Technical Specialist to support the ongoing development, adoption, and daily operations of the Erste Databricks Platform . The role is positioned between users, data teams, platform engineers, and other stakeholders. The main focus is to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, support technical implementation, and help ensure that the Databricks platform delivers value in a secure, efficient, and scalable way. The ideal candidate has a mix of analysis skills and technical understanding, with experience or interest in cloud data platforms, Azure, Terraform, Python, SQL, and modern data governance practices. The candidate does not need to fulfill every requirement but should be willing to learn and grow in the role. What to do: Work daily with Databricks users to understand their requests, challenges, and goals. Translate their needs into clear functional and technical requirements. Support the Erste Databricks Platform team in prioritizing, analyzing, and delivering user requests. Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders. Help design and document platform processes, user journeys, and operational procedures. Support onboarding of new users, use cases, and data products onto the Databricks platform. Analyze issues, clarify requirements, and coordinate resolution with the relevant technical teams. Support improvements in data lifecycle management, governance, cost awareness, and operational efficiency. Contribute to platform documentation, knowledge
