Job Summary The Technical Specialist provides technical expertise in chemical testing and regulatory requirements for consumer products to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports laboratory operations by interpreting standards, resolving technical issues, and advising internal teams and clients on compliance matters. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert on consumer product safety, regulatory compliance, and testing requirements. Interpret U.S. and Canadian regulations, standards, and test methods. Provide technical support to sales and account managers during client engagements. Prepare test plans, test protocols, and other technical documentation. Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure consistent interpretation and application of regulations, standards, and test requirements. Participate in Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), and industry associations. Develop and deliver technical training for clients, retailers, suppliers, laboratories, and internal personnel. Create presentations, webinars, technical bulletins, guidance documents, and customer-facing educational materials. Support initiatives and contribute expertise to technical service development and process improvement projects. Ensure projects are completed
