This position will play a crucial role in ensuring system quality, stability, and compliance as enhancements, fixes, and releases are delivered across development, test, and production environments. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment. Responsibilities: Execute manual test cases for Momentum Financials across multiple environments. Analyze business requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts. Validate end‑to‑end business processes, including core federal financial functions (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, Procure‑to‑Pay). Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after enhancements, defect fixes, and releases. Identify, document, and track defects using approved tools; work closely with developers and functional teams to support defect resolution and retesting. Collaborate with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Support the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team. Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews. Ensure all testing activities comply with VA quality assurance standards and documentation requirements.
