We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer Apprentice to join our Technology and Innovation team in Slough. Our Innovation team are involved with research and development, driving the future products through to the consumer market. As an Apprentice you will be involved in supporting the team working alongside experienced Test Engineers and Project Engineers, performing activities including the build, test and development of new products and Root Cause Analysis projects. Gaining an understanding and learning the mechanical build of a seal, and testing on multiple different test rigs and gain a deep understanding of the mechanical principles of how and why they work the way they do. You will also learn about 3D modelling and prototype machining. As part of this 4 year programme you will be rotated through and learn from our gas seals engineering solutions team.
