Test Technician (Starlink Aviation)

TEST TECHNICIAN (STARLINK AVIATION) As a Starlink Aviation Test Technician, you will be responsible for building the test systems and infrastructure used to test and produce Starlink Aviation products. Your primary functionality will be to produce, deploy and maintain test racks, fixtures, and harnessing using engineering drawings and internally developed systems. You will work closely with Starlink Aviation design and certification engineers, as well as FAA and other Enterprise partners. SpaceX is looking to provide access for the global aviation fleet to the world wide web - you would be directly involved and hands on with accomplishing this mission! RESPONSIBILITIES: Build high-quality wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment Support production and qualification by troubleshooting hardware and software, updating documentation, training line technicians, and performing schedule maintenance Manage workload in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to critical requests Interpret a variety of sources ranging from controlled, released documentation to informal sketches Identify design gaps; ask directed questions, and apply skill and experience to resolve them, and update documentation to prevent recurrence Maintain clean, stocked, and orderly work area BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency certificate 1+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Associate degree 3+ years of experience with hardware testing Hands-on experience fabricating and debugging harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, and test stations Ability to use written and oral
