Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc, the nation’s leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Sales Engineer- South Central/ Southwest Region. This position would include OK, TX, NE, KS, SOUTH ID, UT, NM, SW TX, AZ, SOUTH NV, SOUTH CA, & HI. Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL. The Sales Engineer is a highly experienced and trained representative of Tyler Union with extensive contacts in the contractor, engineering and utility communities, plus a high level of recognized expertise in these communities nationwide. This representative would be able to significantly contribute to winning major projects by enhancing the Company’s position through improved specifications and market perception, creating greater customer loyalty. The Sales Engineer’s primary function will be to support the sales team, as well as call on the top 50 utilities/municipalities and engineers. Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program. Advise management of any deviations from this program. Call on city engineers and specifying officials throughout the country, both in support of Territory Managers and independently concentrating on major national firms. Attain a personal relationship with as many engineers and officials as possible. Join AWWA and attend meetings as time allows. Attend National, State and Local code meetings and conferences where beneficial. Be “the authority” on all Tyler Union
