US - Junior Accountant (Madrid)

In this role you will play a crucial part in managing our accounts payable processes and supporting key financial operations in the US. What you will be doing... Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This includes recording invoices properly in the GL and resolving discrepancies. Prepare and issue payments to vendors, which may involve scheduling payments, managing payment methods, and ensuring timely processing to maintain good vendor relationships. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. Regularly reconcile AP accounts to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain listing of vendors and relationship contacts. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding payments, discrepancies, and account issues. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors. Assist in generating reports related to accounts payable activities and contribute to month-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. Maintain a listing of all taxes and ensure they are filed and paid timely. Process 1099's on an annual basis. You have...
