About the team and the role: An eBay subsidiary, TCGplayer is on a quest to be the most trusted trading card game (TCG) platform — connecting and empowering the hobby community. Trading card games are a $25B global market that creates community connection through in-person games (Pokemon; Magic: The Gathering; YuGiOh; etc.). Founded by TCG enthusiasts, we operate a global marketplace, and create tools, technologies and solutions that help small businesses profitably sell TCGs at scale. As a Principal Product Designer, Design Systems, you will shape the future of TCGplayer's product experience by evolving the shared design system that powers our end-to-end commerce ecosystem—from marketplace experiences and seller tools to fulfillment and robotic inventory digitization systems. You will establish and continuously elevate the visual language, interaction patterns, and experience standards that define our products, helping transform them into cohesive, intuitive, and professional-grade experiences that reflect the quality of an eBay company.
