Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to support a busy family law practice through a combination of legal, administrative, client service, and billing responsibilities. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping cases organized, supporting attorneys throughout the legal process, and ensuring clients receive timely and professional communication. You will thrive if you enjoy managing multiple priorities, maintaining accuracy in fast paced environments, and building positive relationships with clients and legal professionals. Generate billing and operational reports as requested. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. Process client payments and maintain accurate billing records. Prepare attorney invoices for review and distribution. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third party vendors.
