Job Summary: We are looking for a Virtual Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization, software-defined networking, and software-defined storage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. The role covers vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu, with a focus on automation, capacity management, and the practical realities of operating a large VMware estate alongside modern cloud-native workloads. The ideal candidate has operated VMware platforms at enterprise scale, navigates the evolving VMware product landscape pragmatically, and brings strong automation and operations discipline. Key Responsibilities Design and operate VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX environments across data centers and hybrid cloud deployments. Build and maintain Tanzu Kubernetes Grid environments for containerized workloads. Implement vRealize / Aria Automation for self-service VM provisioning, lifecycle management, and policy enforcement. Operate NSX-T for software-defined networking, including micro-segmentation and load balancing. Manage vSAN clusters, storage policies, and storage performance for diverse workload classes. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity using Site Recovery Manager and replication. Build automation for VMware infrastructure using PowerCLI, Terraform, Ansible, and vRO. Desi
