Our program is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Developer. This candidate must support a challenging integration and health information exchange project utilizing InterSystems Caché, Ensemble, VistA, and HealthShare. Work You’ll Do: The VistA Developer will be responsible for deploying, updating, and managing test VistA instances across several cloud-deployed environments. They will also provide support to development teams using deployed VistA systems. This role focuses primarily on development, with responsibilities that include designing, development, and participating in coding activities and validation. Utilize a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, Veteran-focused Integration Process (VIP), and VistA. Interact effectively and professionally with clients, stakeholders, partners, subcontractors, and vendors. Escalate key issues and recommended solutions to project and client leadership and participate in architecture enhancements by supporting enterprise and maintenance releases.
