VSP Physician Collaborator

Become a part of our caring community We are excited to offer the role of Virtual Physician Collaborator for CenterWell Medical Group , a new virtual care delivery group within CenterWell Senior Primary Care , Humana's Primary Care Organization. This group will provide virtual wraparound services to support patients when they cannot get in with their own PCP – closing gaps in care, ensuring timeless access to important medications and solving urgent clinical needs. This Virtual Physician Collaborator shares in our vision to improve primary care for the next generation of seniors and is eager to support excellent care every day! As the Physician Collaborator, you will focus on the collaborative relationship through our Nurse Practitioners. This is a fully remote role, which involves approximately 5 hours a month. You will work in a remote role, reporting to our Associate Director. Responsibilities You will complete regular chart review and coordinate monthly meetings You will be available as a resource for the advanced practice provider to ensure quality patient care. You will collaborate with clinical leaders about quality of care, review of outcome data, procedure, and records issues. Required Qualifications: You will have a current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Mississippi You must actively practice medicine in the state of Mississippi in a physical capacity You will be a graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university You are Board certification or Board Eligible You will have 2+ years telemedicine/telehealth experience You will have 2+ years of experience as a Collaborating Physician Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is requi
