Role Description The Web Developer will work on-site in Wexford in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with designers and other team members to build, maintain, and improve client websites and web applications. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end interfaces, developing back-end functionality, integrating third-party services, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and performant user experiences. The role involves translating design concepts into clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and optimizing sites for usability, speed, and search engines. The Web Developer will also contribute to project planning, provide technical input on design feasibility, maintain documentation, and support ongoing updates and enhancements for client projects. Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience implementing responsive and accessible web interfaces. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming (e.g., PHP, Node.js, or similar), including working with databases and APIs. Solid understanding of core Web Development principles, version control (e.g., Git), and cross-browser compatibility. Experience in Web Design, with the ability to translate creative concepts into user-friendly, visually consistent digital products. Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with modern frameworks or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, React, or similar) is highly beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Experience working in an agency or client-focused environment and managing multiple projects and deadlines is an advantage.
