Role purpose An Intern works in project teams, which may be led by a Manager or Director. The expectation is for the Intern to play an active role in supporting the AI & Data team on various projects and initiatives aimed at leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and innovation.The role will provide a learning opportunity for the intern and valuable support to the organization. Key accountabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from multiple sources. Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms. Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. Support data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks. Assist in designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and validate models. Help build data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making. Contribute to the development of data visualization dashboards and reports. Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies. Professional skills Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical concepts. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Exposure to agentic AI concepts such as multi-agent systems, tool-use, RAG pipelines, or autonomous task execution is highly desirable.
