Application Developer - ServiceNow

The ServiceNow Developer plays a key part in configuring, customizing, and extending the ServiceNow platform to meet the ever-evolving needs of our business. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their challenges and develop innovative solutions that streamline workflows and improve efficiency. This role is very hands on and is a senior expert within the ServiceNow team. Expectations for this role are that the individual delivers new code and application configurations within a formalized Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This individual will also foster an environment of mature code development and release and build a strong CI/CD pipeline. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned Design, develop, and implement custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure solutions align with business needs Configure and customize existing ServiceNow modules to optimize functionality Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications to create a unified IT ecosystem Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and well-documented code Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality and performance of ServiceNow applications Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform. Perform upkeep on existing solutions (e.g. business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, workflows, dashboard & reporting, data imports, service catalog development, etc.) Stay up to date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities Provide training and support to end-users on ServiceNow applications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as a ServiceNow developer (minimum 5 years) Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Development Studio and scripting languages (GlideScript, UI Script) Experience with ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident Management, Change Managemen
