Here’s your chance to make a difference and grow with a dynamic team that thrives on innovation and collaboration Your Role: As a Data Cloud Platform Engineer , you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, stability, and continuous improvement of existing database platforms running on AWS . You will ensure databases remain secure, highly available, performant, and recoverable , supporting production workloads and business-critical applications. This role focuses on operational excellence, troubleshooting, automation, and incremental optimization , working closely with DevOps, Platform, and application teams. 🛠️ Operate & Support Existing AWS Databases Support and maintain production databases running on Amazon RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases on EC2 . Ensure database availability, integrity, and performance across multiple environments. Respond to database-related incidents, alerts, and service degradations. 🔍 Monitor, Troubleshoot & Optimize Performance Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and replication using CloudWatch, Performance Insights, and native database tools . Diagnose and resolve performance issues such as slow queries, locking, resource contention, and replication lag. Perform capacity planning and proactive tuning. 🔐 Security, Backup & Data Protection Enforce database security best practices (access controls, encryption at rest/in transit, credential management).
