Digital Electrical Engineer

As a Digital Electrical Engineer on the hardware team, you will be responsible for owning the design, manufacture, test and deployment of highly integrated PCBAs used by a large number of space customers. You will work with a small team of software, RF hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to vehicle integration, taking a full-stack approach to building robust space communication systems. Responsibilities - Design high-speed digital hardware including processors, FPGAs, memory, interfaces, and supporting circuitry - Perform trades and analyses of board architecture and component selection - Schematic capture and layout of space-grade PCBs - Bring-up and testing of new designs - Partner with RF engineers, software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing teams and production test teams to drive designs end-to-end - Work with mechanical engineers to ensure proper thermal dissipation of devices - Work with supply chain counterparts to enable rapid manufacture and iteration of components - Design for performance under space-grade acceptance, qualification, and compliance requirements Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM discipline - 3+ years of professional experience designing high-speed digital circuitry - Proven experience designing boards using EDA tools such as Altium Designer - Experience designing and debugging Xilinx RFSoC / MPSoC-based systems or equivalent platforms - Experience debugging SoCs across the bootup stack (baremetal/
