Listed as a remote role based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Tech Pipeline is a remote technical service provider that steps in when operational processes become too complex for standard tools to handle. We work with companies to identify where data goes missing, why approval chains fail, and how to fix the friction that slows down their internal teams. Our current engagement is with a major Spanish financial group where we are addressing specific gaps in how they route and reconcile daily transactions. About the role As a Junior React Developer, you will be joining a team focused on building the interfaces that internal operators use to keep business processes moving. We do not build flashy marketing sites: we build functional, reliable tools that help people find and fix errors in their data. In this role, you will be working directly on the front-end components that display transaction logs, routing rules, and reconciliation reports. The goal is to provide a clear source of truth for our partner's operations team so they can stop managing their work through manual email chains and start using a consolidated system. This is a fully remote position that requires a practical approach to coding and a focus on how software serves the person using it. What you will be doing Developing and maintaining reusable React components for our internal suite of tools. Converting user requirements and basic wireframes into functional interfaces that handle complex data sets. Identifying and fixing UI bugs where data might not be displaying correctly or updates are failing. Collaborating with the backend team to ensure API responses are correctly mapped to the front-end state. Reading system logs and browser console outputs to trace the origin of interface errors. Updating technical documentation to explain how new features or components should be used. Participating in code reviews to ensure our codebase stays organized and easy for others to read. Testing new interface releases to ensure they work smoothly for the operators who rely on them every day. What we need from you Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with some exposure to React through projects or coursework. A fundamental understanding of how to manage data flow within a component-based architecture. The ability to write clear, concise English for both documentation and team communication. Attention to detail when it comes to following design specifications and consistency in the UI. A preference for fixing specific problems over debating abstract architectural frameworks. Self-discipline to manage your time and tasks effectively in a fully remote environment. Comfort with using Git for version control and basic command line operations. Helpful background Previous experience with CSS frameworks or UI libraries like Material UI or Tailwind. Familiarity with how financial data is structured or any exposure to reconciliation processes. Small personal projects or open source contributions that demonstrate an ability to finish what you start. Experience working in a role that required high levels of accuracy and organized record-keeping. What the role offers The opportunity to work on a large-scale project for a significant partner in the Spanish financial sector. A fully remote work schedule that avoids the need for commuting or travel. Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry-level technical position in today's market. One-on-one mentorship from experienced developers who focus on practical results and clean code. A work environment that values documentation and clarity over long, unnecessary status meetings. Direct experience seeing how software solves real-world operational drag in a complex business. Working at Tech Pipeline is different from the typical corporate tech experience. We do not spend our time on high-level strategy decks or broad internal initiatives. Instead, we stay close to the technical reality of how work moves through a system. Our communication is mostly written and asynchronous, which allows us to focus on the task at hand without constant interruptions. We document everything we build so that once a problem is fixed, it stays fixed, and our clients can eventually take over the system without needing our ongoing support. If you enjoy knowing exactly how a system works and seeing your code help a team do their job more effectively, you will fit in well here.
