Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Machine Learning Engineer / MLOps role based in Stockholm. In this position, you design, implement, and maintain scalable machine learning models, focusing on production-ready solutions and reliable deployment pipelines. You collaborate closely with data engineers and software developers to build end-to-end ML systems, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and monitoring. Daily work includes optimizing algorithms, managing model lifecycle, improving infrastructure for training and serving, and ensuring robustness, security, and observability of ML services. You also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development and MLOps practices. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, including data structures, complexity, and software engineering principles. Solid understanding of Statistics and Pattern Recognition for building and evaluating machine learning models. Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and modern ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar). Experience with MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Proficiency in a programming language commonly used in ML (such as Python) and familiarity with cloud or container-based environments. Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and work on-site in Stockholm. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in production-grade ML systems, data engineering, or backend development is an advantage.
